Winters can get long and dreary here in northern Wisconsin. Lately, I have been missing fresh air and natural colors. In order to fix my slump, I had decided to visit our on campus greenhouse. Here are some of the super neat plants I saw on my trip up!
The greenhouse is a great opportunity for students at Saint Norbert College to learn more about plants from different environments. The plants pictured above all come from warmer, dryer environments. The other section of the greenhouse are plants from a warmer, wetter environment. Those are plants that are more tropical and are less common here in Wisconsin.
The warm temperature of the greenhouse, the sick view of Lambeau Field, and seeing the beautiful greenery all made walking up to the top floor of the science building worth it.
