Hello, hello, hello!
One hot topic that has been coming up more often than ever in my life is the importance of family.
Over the last month, I have lost one family member that I hold very near and dear to my heart. While struggling with that, I have also had two more lovely women in my life take a huge decline in their health. One, we understand, probably won’t be around much longer.
While I understand that yes, this is a lot for others to read and understand and yes, this is very personal information, it is important to understand just how meaningful it is to have closeness within the relationships in your family.
I am unbelievably lucky to be a part of a family that truly values that importance of bonding and loving each other no matter what. I’ve learned that in the time of hardship, it doesn’t matter what drama is happening, we can all come together to support each other when it matters most.
This is something I have always valued and have recently realized isn’t always the case for everyone else. I’ve learned the hard way that others don’t share these same values. Not everyone believes in the importance of being there for one another when someone is struggling. This isn’t anybody’s fault, they just haven’t been lucky to have experienced this.
Something that we all need to remember when our peers, acquaintances, and friends are struggling with difficult times is to be understanding.
What this whole whirlwind of a month has taught me is the importance of keeping your family close. At the end of the day, the people that are supportive and understanding are very special and you should hold onto them because those special people can be rare to find.
Thank you to those who have been there through the thick and thin of it all. Endless love to you.
